Global airline Air France is sponsoring our Chad/Darfur project by waiving all freight charges for shipment of Headway English language (ESL) course material. The agreement with our UK-based partner CORD facilitates delivery of the books, published in the UK by Oxford University Press, to refugee camps in eastern Chad. From London's Heathrow Airport, the books fly to Paris, and then via direct service to Chad's capital, N'Djamena.

Air France's donated shipping and the publisher's discount allow us to maximize the value of donations for Headway books, and provide this direct aid with as little overhead as possible (only PayPal's standard credit card processing fees, for donations received online).
